Trick or Treat

The Princess and the Strawberry went out Haloween night and discovered the art of "Trick or Treat".  With Auntie Rach in tow they meandered through the neighborhood charming all the neighbors with their smiles and hugs.  Emma of course noticed every pumpkin calling it a "basa" short for calabasa and said "ew" at all the pretend spiders we saw.  Kate was unusually speechless when she would open the door to see kids dressed in the craziest costumes. 

 

Good bye Ferncrest

Our house has finally sold and moving day is coming soon.  For eight years this has been our home and sometimes I am sad to leave.  Then I come back and realize that there is no more room in our closets, our garage is lined with stuff and the kids toys have taken over the house.  Its time to move and get rid of a lot of stuff while we are at it.  We will miss our great neighbors.  Kate has asked many times that Presley and Nixon (the neighbor kids) please move with us.  I know she will be really sad when she finds out that there are no kids living next door to us in the new house.  So good bye Ferncrest we will miss you........
